4. Intended use
The table saw is only designed for private use in con-
nection with hobby and DIY projects for the following
purposes:
• for cutting wood of all kinds lengthwise in accordance
with the size of the machine,
• for cutting wood of all kinds (only with the cross guide)
crosswise in accordance with the size of the
m Round lumber, regardless of the kind, must
not be cut.
Only saw blades suitable for the machine (HM or CV
saw blades) may be used. HSS saw blades or cutting
discs of any kind may not be used.
Any other applications are expressly prohibited and
are deemed improper use.
Neither the manufacturer nor the retailer can accept
any responsibility for injury, loss or damage caused
by misuse of this product of any kind.
The table saw is designed for the slitting and cross-
cutting of all types of timber, commensurate with the
machine's size. The machine is not to be used for
cutting any type of roundwood.
Examples of misuse are given in the following
non-exhaustive list:
• Using the table saw for other purposes than those
which are intended;
• Failure to observe the safety instructions and warnings
as well as the assembly, operating, maintenance and
cleaning instructions contained in this user manual;
• Failure to comply with any regulations relating to
accident prevention, occupational medicine or
safety which specifically and/or generally apply to
the use of this table saw;
• Use of accessories or spare parts that are not in-
tended for this table saw;
• Modifications to the table saw;
• Repairs to the table saw by parties other than the
manufacturer or a qualified professional;
• Use of the table saw for commercial or industrial
applications;
• Operation or maintenance of the table saw by per-
sons not familiar with how to handle the table saw
and/or who are not aware of the related

When using the equipment, a few safety precautions
must be observed to avoid injuries and damage.
Please read the complete operating instructions and
safety regulations with due care. Keep this manual in
a safe place, so that the information is available at all
times. If you give the equipment to any other person,
hand over these operating instructions and safety
regulations as well. We cannot accept any liability for
damage or accidents which arise due to a failure to

The manufacturer shall not be liable for any changes
made to the machine nor for any damage resulting
from such changes.
Residual risks
Despite proper use, additional residual risks can-
not be completely ruled out.
• The following risks may arise due to the nature of
the table saw:
• Touching the exposed areas of the saw blade;
• Reaching into the rotating saw blade (cut injury);
machine.
• Kickback of the workpieces and parts of the work-
piece if used improperly;
• Saw blade breaks;
• Projection of defective hard metal parts of the saw
blade;
• Hearing loss in the event of failure to use the re-
quired ear protection;
• Damage to the eyes if the required safety goggles
are not used;
• Injury to health if the required dust mask is not used;
• Emission of wood dust that is harmful to health if
used in enclosed spaces.
m Please note that our equipment has not been de-
signed for use in commercial, trade or industrial ap-
plications. Our warranty will be voided if the machine
is used in commercial, trade or industrial businesses
or for equivalent purposes.
