operAtion - General
The appliance is intended only for domestic use,
not for professional use.

operAtion - setting the time
Before using the coffee maker you need to set its clock to the correct time.
1. Put the plug into the socket.
2 The display (8) will flash and the display shows: 00.00
3 Hold the hour button (9) button to set the hour.
4 Hold the minute button (10) pressed to set the correct minutes.
5. If you have set the correct time release the minute button, the display will stop flashing after a few
seconds.The right time is now set.
The coffee maker's clock uses the 24-hour format.
operAtion - before first use
Clean the appliance a couple of times by filling it with water only. Please observe the following instructions.
Dispose of the water after use.
operAtion - brewing coffee
1. Open the water reservoir lid (1). Pour an ample amount of water into the reservoir (approx. 400ml).Close
the lid.
2. Open the filterholder lid (2).
The coffee maker includes a permanent filter (5). There is no need to use a paper filter. However, if you
do wish to use paper filters, you are able to place a paper filter (101) in place of the permanent filter.
3. Fill the filter with the desired amount of ground coffee. (usually 1 level measuring scoop per cup).
4. Close the filterholder lid.
5. Place the thermo jug into the appliance.
Make sure you have opened leak/proof drinking lid until it locks in place. Otherwise the coffee will run
along the thermo cup.
