2.2 Installing the transmitter with extra equipment (satellite receiver, Set-Top Box,
DVD player, etc )
This setup allows you to watch all sources both in the main room TV and the second room TV.
1. Connect the antenna splitter [B] to the
aerial connection of your TV.
2. Connect a coaxial cable [A] to one side of
the antenna splitter [B].
3. Connect the other end of the coaxial cable
[A] to the antenna input [3] of the TV
Anywhere transmitter.
4. Connect the existing coaxial cable (C)(from
your satellite receiver or Set-Top) to the
other end of the splitter.
5. Connect
the
from your DVD player to the audio/video
input [4] of the TV Anywhere transmitter
[MultiSource function]. An RCA/RCA cable
[E] is supplied.
6. Connect the audio/video output [5] of the
TV Anywhere transmitter to the audio/
video input (SCART) [F] of your TV. To make
this connection, you can use the cable you
originally used for connecting your DVD to
your TV.
7. Insert the plug of the infrared extender
cable to the output [2] on the TV Anywhere
transmitter.
8. Locate the small IR LED's on the IR sensors of
the equipment connected. The IR emitters
have adhesive tape on the back. Remove
the protective label and press the emitter
lightly to the front of your equipment. You
may have to make some adjustments to
find the right location.
9. Select a channel using the Channel Selector slide switch [9], e.g. C.
10. Connect the large power adapter to the TV Anywhere transmitter [6].
Attention: The power adapters for the transmitter and receiver are different!
11. Switch on the unit with the ON/OFF switch [7].
12. Make sure the TV Anywhere transmitter is placed some distance away from other
equipement which may interfere. Do not place the transmitter on top of your audio and/
or video equipment.
13. Direct the flat antenna [8] at the receiver.
