User manual for the usage of the König Satfinder Kit
English: User manual for installation and operation of the König satellite finders.
For SATFINDER: follow instructions 1a, 1b, 1c, 3, 4 and 5.
For SATFINDER-KIT: follow instructions 2a 2b, 2c, 3, 4 en 5.
1a. Connect the LNB to the satellite finder's "To LNB" input using a coax cable.
1b. Connect the receiver to the satellite finder's "To REC" input using a coax cable.
1c. Turn on the satellite receiver. The scale of the satellite finder will be lighted.
2a. Connect the LNB to the satellite finder's "To LNB" input using a coax cable.
2b. Connect the battery holder (use 10x AA type alkaline batteries) to the satellite finder's "To
REC" input using the special cable.
2c. The scale of the satellite finder will be lighted.
3. Set the reading around 5 by adjusting the knob on the front of the meter.
4. Use a compass to roughly point out the desired satellite.
5. Align the dish position, feedhorn position and polarization to have the highest reading. If full
scale then lower the reading by turning the knob counterclockwise. Repeat these steps until
highest signal is achieved.

Für SATFINDER: folgen Sie den Anweisungen 1a, 1b, 1c, 3, 4 und 5.
Für SATFINDER-KIT: folgen Sie den Anweisungen 2a 2b, 2c, 3, 4 und 5.
1a. Schließen Sie das LNB am Sat-Finder Eingang "To LNB" mit einem Koax-Kabel an.
1b. Schließen Sie den Receiver am Sat-Finder Eingang "To REC" mit einem Koax-Kabel an.
1c. Schalten Sie den Satelliten-Receiver ein. Die Scala des Sat-Finders wird beleuchtet.
2a. Schließen Sie das LNB am Sat-Finder Eingang "To LNB" mit einem Koax-Kabel an.
2b. Schließen Sie den Batteriehalter (setzen Sie 10x Alkaline Batterien der Grösse AA ein) am
Sat-Finder Eingang "To REC" mit dem speziellen Kabel an.
2c. Die Scala des Sat-Finders wird beleuchtet.
3. Stellen Sie den Messwert auf 5, indem Sie den Drehknopf an der Frontseite des
Messinstruments justieren.
4. Benutzen Sie den Kompass, um die gewünschte Satelliten Position zu finden.
5. Richten Sie die Antenne, das Feedhorn und die Polarisation auf das höchste Messergebnis
aus. Geht der Zeiger auf Vollausschlag, senken Sie den Messwert ab, indem Sie den Drehknopf
nach links drehen. Wiederholen Sie diese Schritte, bis das höchste Signal erreicht ist.
