Changing door opening side

Depending on the space conditions, you can
change the direction of the door hinges on
your appliance. This work, however, requires
you to have a certain degree of craftsmanship
skills. Please read the following steps com-
pletely before changing the hinges.
In addition to the package contents, you will
require:
– a medium sized cross-slotted screwdriver
– a medium sized flat-headed screwdriver
– Size 8 and 10 spanners
– The assistance of another person, where
possible
WARNING
Risk of electric shock!
To change the door hinges you will need
to remove the cover from the appliance.
Live parts can become accessible by do-
ing so.
Pull the mains plug out of the sock-

et before starting to change the door
hinges.
If you want to change the door hinge,
you must do this on both doors.
The door handles must be dismantled before
the door opening side is changed and reat-
tached to the other side after the door open-
ing side has been changed (see „Attaching
door handles" on page EN-23).
Removing the doors
1. Ensure that the appliance is not connect-
ed to the power supply.
2. Open the upper door, close the lower
door.

3. Gently lever the blanking plate (17) on
the upper door upwards with a flat-head-
ed screwdriver and lift it off. Store the
blanking plate in a safe place.

4. Lever the opposite blanking plate (18)
upwards also and lift it off.

5. Loosen the three screws (21) of the top
hinge (19), remove them and keep them
in a safe place.
