Water connections

Do not solder directly below the device, this may cause damage to the base of the boiler. Heat may also damage the insulation
of the hydraulic valves. Weld and assemble the pipes before installing the boiler.
Tighten the boiler water connections with care (maximum tightening torque 30 Nm).
6.3.1
Connecting the CH circuit
• It is recommended to install on/off valves on the heating delivery and return; these valves are available as an accessory.
• Connect the CH return line to the boiler inlet connector.
• Connect the CH flow line to the boiler outlet connector.
The boiler is provided as standard with a safety valve installed on the flow side of the CH circuit.
The pipes of the CH circuit must be installed in compliance with the requirements in force.
The drainage pipe of the safety valve must not be welded on.
Any welding that is required must be carried out at a safe distance from the boiler or before installation.
Install an outlet under the safety valve connected to the drainage system of the building. Feed the hose provided into the drainage pipe.
6.3.2
Connecting the DHW circuit - PRIME 26-30
The pipes of the DHW circuit must be installed in compliance with the requirements in force.
Any welding must be carried out at a safe distance from the boiler or before installation.
If using plastic pipes, observe the manufacturer's recommendations on connecting these.
• Connect the DHW inlet pipe to the DHW water inlet 1/2" connection. The DHW inlet on/off valve is available as an accessory.
• Connect the DHW 1/2" connection to the domestic water distribution network.
• When connecting the boiler to a DHW production solar system, the installation of the accessory kit is also recommended. This
kit includes all the safety solutions to avoid damage to the system, and ensure the safety of the user.
6.3.3
Connecting the supplementary expansion vessel
A 7-litre vessel is provided as standard with the boiler.
If the volume of water is greater than 100 litres or if the system is at a height of more than 5 metres, a supplementary expansion
vessel needs to be installed. Refer to the table below to identify the type of expansion vessel required for the system.

Conditions of validity of the table:
• Safety valve (3 bar)
• Average water temperature: 70 ºC.
• Flow temperature: 80 ºC.
• Return temperature: 60 ºC.
• The pressure at which to fill the system is less than or equal to the pressure for pre-filling the expansion vessel.
6.3.4
Connecting the drainage hose to the condensate collection siphon
Connect the outlet of the siphon, located under the boiler, to the drainage system of the building using a hose in compliance with
the standards in force. The hose must be at a gradient of a minimum of 30 cm per metre and be no more than 5 metres in length.
Before starting up the boiler, fill the water siphon to prevent the fumes from diffusing in the room.
It is prohibited to drain the condensate into a roof drainage channel.
