7 WB (white balance) switch
Selects white balance adjustement
mode when the FLASH switch is set
to OFF.
AUTO: White balance is
automatically adjusted.
3200: White balance of 3200K is
obtained.
8 FLASH switch
ON: For shooting using a strobe. At
this position, the flash mark
appears on the operation display,
and a picture is taken with shutter

OFF: For shooting without using a
strobe. At this position, the WB
switch is enabled.
9 Strobe shoe
Attach a strobe. When a clip-on
strobe is attached, the strobe will light
synchronized with shutter operation.
0 Flange-back adjustment screw
Adjust the flange back of the lens.
!¡ DISPLAY switch
For turning the LCD ON and OFF.
!™ Release button
Press to shoot a picture displayed on
the LCD. When the button is pressed,
the picture is stored in the camera's
memory, and the record lamp flashes
slowly while the picture is being
stored in memory.
!£ Tripod screw hole
Used to attach the camera to a tripod
or the DKA-GP30 Camera Grip
(optional).

!¢ Mode button
The button is enabled when the
PLAY/CAMERA/OFF switch is set to
PLAY.
Lightly press MODE, SET, " or "
side of the button, and the following
action is obtained.
MODE: Each time you press this
side, the mode displayed on the
LCD changes cyclically as
follows: no indication → MULTI
(multiple screen) → PROTECT
→ ERASE.
SET: An item selected by pressing
MODE, " or " of the mode
button is settled.
", ": A picture to display, erase or
protect is set.
!∞ Lens mount
Attach a C-mount lense.
!§ Self-timer lamp
When the release button is pressed in
self-timer shooting, the lamp is lit for
about seven seconds, then flashes for
about three seconds.
!¶ FLASH jack
Connect a cord from a strobe.
!• NTSC MON (monitor) jack
Connect to the input jack on a video
monitor using a supplied video cable.
You can see a picture displayed on the
LCD. If the input connector of the
monitor is of BNC type, use the plug
adaptor (supplied).
!ª RELEASE jack
Connect a supplied remote release.
