Words
Danger symbol: This symbol indicates dangers of injury.
Read through the associated safety notices carefully
and follow them.

Intended Use
•
The product can be used for briefl y lighting both indoor and
outdoor areas. The product records movements within a range
of up to 10 metres.
•
The product is not a toy!
•
The product is designed for personal use only and is not
intended for commercial applications.
•
The product should only be used as described in the operating
instructions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.
SAFETY NOTICES
WARNING – Danger of Injury!
■
Danger of suff ocation! Keep the product and the packaging
material away from children and animals.
■
Danger of dazzling! Never look directly into the light source!
This could damage your eyes.
Danger of burns from battery acid!
■
Batteries can be deadly if swallowed. Batteries and the prod-
uct should be kept out of the reach of children and animals. If
a battery is swallowed, immediate medical attention must be
sought.
■
If a battery has leaked, do not allow your skin, eyes and mu-
cous membranes to come into contact with the battery acid. If
you touch battery acid, rinse the aff ected areas with abundant
clear water straight away and seek medical assistance imme-
diately.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property

Use only the battery type specifi ed in the technical data.
■
Always replace all batteries together. Do not use batteries of
diff erent types or brands, or batteries with diff erent capacities.
■
Remove a dead battery immediately and clean the battery
compartment.
■
Take the batteries out of the product when they are dead or if
you will not be using the product for a prolonged period. This
will prevent any damage caused by leaks.
■
Use suitable fastening material to mount the product on a wall.
If you are unsure whether the fastening material supplied with
the product is suitable, seek advice from a specialist stockist.
■
Before drilling, ensure that there are no pipes or cables behind
the intended drilling point.
■
Never immerse the product in water or other liquids!
■
During extreme weather conditions (e. g. storm, hail) or if the
product will not be used for a long time, take out the batteries
and store the product in a dry place.
■
Protect the product from naked fl ames and impacts.
■
Do not make any changes to the product and do not attempt
to repair it. Contact the customer service department if there
is any damage.
■
The individual LEDs cannot be replaced.
■
Under no circumstances should you use any corrosive or abra-
sive cleaning agents or rough sponges to clean the product.
These may damage the surface.

for transport damage. If you fi nd any damage, do not use the prod-
uct but contact our customer service department.

4 batteries (1.5 V D type) are also required. These are not supplied
with the product.
Operation
The motion detector responds to moving objects within its detection
range and automatically activates the spotlight. The spotlight
switches off again after around 30 seconds without registering a
movement.
