Die PoE-Medienmodule MSM22 und MSM42 unterstützen Power-over-
Ethernet (PoE) nach IEEE 802.3af und Power-over-Ethernet-Plus
(PoE-Plus) nach IEEE 802.3at.
Die PoE-Ports ermöglichen den Anschluss und die Fernspeisung z. B. von
IP-Telefonen (Voice-over-IP), Webcams, Sensoren, Print-Servern und
WLAN-Access-Points. Die Spannungsversorgung dieser Endgeräte erfolgt
bei PoE über das Twisted-Pair-Kabel.
Die maximale Leistungsabgabe pro Modul beträgt 62 Watt.
