4.6 - Controller operation description

A controller continuously tests whether its electronics are
working properly. LEDs fitted to the board can be seen
beneath the transparent cover on the casing and indicate
whether the electronic circuits are operating correctly.
Red LED: controller status
LED status NTC status
Permanently switched off No supply to board, power supply fault
Permanently switched on Supply to board okay, but the microcontroller is not
active or defective.
Flashing: on for 800 ms, off The board works without the application code loaded
for 200 ms (1 Hz) or during the initialisation of the boot loader
Flashing : on for 1 s, off for The board works with the application code loaded
1s (1/2 Hz)
Flashing: on for 250 ms, off Factory test activated
for 250 ms
Flashing: on for 60 ms, off The NTCs have received their address and the
for 60 ms diagnostic message
Flashing at any other The electronic board works with a fault
frequency
Yellow lED: controller communication status
LED status NTC status
Flashing An NTC sub-controller transmits a CCN message
Off The NTC sub-controllers do not transmit a CCN
message
