BANDSAW
WARNING
Read this manual carefully before using the
machine, for your own safety.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using the machine, always observe the
enclosed safety instructions as well as the additional
safety instructions.
The following symbols are used throughout this
manual:
Denotes risk of personal injury or
damage to the tool.
You will find the following symbols on the machine:
Make sure that the saw blade is always
mounted with the teeth pointing down.
Take measures to protect your eyes.
Consult the manual.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR
BANDSAWS
Never attempt to saw extremely small
workpieces.
While sawing, never place your fingers where
they could touch the saw band in case the
workpiece were to move unexpectedly.
Make sure that the saw band has the correct
tension.
Make sure that the saw band is mounted with the
teeth pointing down to avoid that the workpiece is
lifted unexpectedly.
Do not use the machine before it has been
assembled and installed in accordance with the
instructions.
Do not perform any designing, mounting or
assembling activities on the workbench while the
machine is switched on.
Switch off the machine and clean the saw table
before you leave the machine unattended.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Always check that the power supply corresponds to
the voltage on the rating plate.
DESCRIPTION
Your bandsaw has been designed for making
straight, circular, mitre and bevel cuts in wood,
plastics and leather.

MOUNTING THE MACHINE
The machine must be screwed to a workbench.
Mark the position of the mounting holes (2) on
the workbench.
Drill holes at each of the marked positions,
adjusting the diameter and depth of the holes to the
screws used.
Place the machine on the workbench and insert
the screws into the mounting holes.
Firmly tighten the screws.
SAW BAND PROTECTION
The saw band protection can be removed
temporarily to adjust the sawing angle and the saw
band guides.
Loosen the clamp locks (3) and open the cover
(7).
Move the saw band protection (6) to its lowest
position using the height adjuster (10).
Loosen the screws (13) and remove the
protection.
Replace the saw band protection as soon as
adjustment has been performed.
Never use the saw without saw band protection.
Make sure the saw band protection screens as
much of the saw band as possible.
MOUNTING THE SAW TABLE
Hold the protractor (14) up against the machine
as shown and turn the clamping handle (11) into the
opening.
Fasten the clamping handle and make sure it
points downwards.
If required, lift the handle from the knurled
spindle and turn so it points downwards. The handle
jumps back automatically.
Loosen the nut (15) and remove the screw (16).
Slide the saw band (5) into the slot (17) and
place the saw table (4) onto the protractor.
Attach the saw table using the screws (18).
Securely tighten the screws.
Replace the screw (16) and tighten the nut (15).
ADJUSTING THE SAWING ANGLE
The default angle between the saw band and the
saw table is 90°.
Remove the saw band protection (6).
