8. DAB+ (through Internet Radio)
To use the mode, you must first select Settings / Local stations settings and activate DAB (IR)
there. Then select under Local stations whether the country should be set automatically or manually.
Now you can see „DAB (IR)" as new option in the main menu. The DR 425 IR filters out all the
DAB stations from the country you have selected and which are available from the Internet. As an
example, 319 different DAB+ stations are currently available throughout Germany if you have set
Germany as country. However, the stations are still accessed via the Internet and not via DAB.

With Spotify, you have millions of songs at your disposal: your favourite artists, pre-made playlists
for every mood, the latest hits, and music recommendations tailored to you.
The Spotify Connect feature lets you play and control music wirelessly on your radio. Select the
music you like on your smartphone, tablet or PC and play it over the radio.

9.1. How to use Spotify Connect

The Albrecht DR 425 IR radio already has the Spotify Connect function integrated. This allows you
to control the music you play on the radio via the Spotify app on your smartphone, tablet or PC.
While connected, you can answer phone calls in parallel, watch videos, or simply turn off your
smartphone without interrupting the music. This makes listening to music even more fun.
