6. Function
NCVF unction: While the meter is on, NCV will work. If AC voltage within the specified
range is present, the LED to flash AutoSelect-meter will default to voltage on power-
up. Meter will autoselect AC or DC. When in Continuity or Resistance modes, if meter
detects Voltage(upwards 2.6 V) it will automatically switch to Voltage mode. Unit will not
automatically switch from Voltage to Continuity/Resistance. User can manually cycle the
mode by pressing the large center button.
Automatic Power-Off (APO): Once the meter is turned on, it will automatically turn off
in 15 minutes of no activity. Making a voltage, resistance or continuity measurement will
reset the APO timer.
7. Voltage Measurememts
1. Insert the black test lead into the input jack and
the red test lead into the V input jack.
2. Press Voltage/ Resistance/ Continuity Button to
Voltage mode.
3. Read the voltage on the LCD display
4. Meter will autoselect AC or DC.

8. Resistance Measurements

1. Insert the black test lead into the COM input jack and the red test lead into the Ω input jack.
2. Press Voltage/ Resistance/ Continuity Button to Resistance mode
3. Read the resistance in on the LCD display.
4. If the meter is exposed to voltage while in resistance mode, the meter will switch to
Voltage mode.
