CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Attention! Before
performing any work on
the equipment, pull the
Service
§ Only qualified specialist personnel and original
replacement parts should be used for repairs.
This will ensure that your device remains safe.
Cleaning
§ Regularly clean the machine housing with a soft
cloth, preferably after each use. Keep the
ventilation slots free from dust and dirt. If the dirt
does not come off use a soft cloth
moistened with soapy water. Never use solvents
such as petrol, alcohol, ammonia water,
etc. These solvents may damage the plastic
parts.
Checking the oil-level
Check the oil-level prior to each use.
Fat level should not be less
3 mm, if the level is below, add oil.
To refill the oil, proceed as follows:
_ Remove the plug from the fillingpoint.
Use the spanner supplied.
_ Refill the oil.
_ Replace the plug and tighten it securely.
Checking and replacing the carbon brushes
The carbon brushes must be checked on a
regular basis.
_ Remove the carbon brush holders and clean
the carbon brushes.
_ In case of wear, replace both carbon brushes at
the same time.
_ Mount the carbon brush holders.
_ After mounting new carbon brushes, let
the machine run at no load for 15 minutes.
