Mounting grip rod

Caution! When installing the han-
dle bar, ensure that the Bowden
cables (
Mount lower bars:
1. Position the pins of the lower bar
(5) in the boreholes of the bar
support (32) (see small image).
Make sure that the bar with the
starter cable-guide (26) is posi-
tioned on the correct side.
2. Screw the lower grip bar (5)
tight with the enclosed screws
and the wing nuts (19) both right
and left of the bar support (32).
Three positions are possible.
Mount upper grip bar:
3. Screw the upper grip bar (2)
with the enclosed screws and
wing nuts (27) right and left on
the lower grip bar (5).
4. Fix the Bowden cables (8) to the
bar using the cable clamp (6).

Installing the Starter Cord

1. Pull the safety catch (3) towards
the handle bar (2) and hold it.
2. Slowly pull the starter cord on
the starter handle (25) towards
the bar and hook the starter cord
into the starter cord guide (26).
3. Release the safety catch (3).

Installing the Grass Collec-
tion Box
Caution: Do not operate the
equipment with the grass col-
lection box or impact protec-
tion installed incompletely.
Risk of injury!
During delivery the mulching kit
is inserted and must be removed
before mounting the grass catcher
(see „Installing the Mulch Kit").
Mounting carrying handle:
1. Place the carrying handle (23)
on the hard shell (33) of the
grass catcher and screw it tight
with a cross-head screw (23a)
from below.
Mounting the net
2. Clip the rubber lips into the
catcher net (34) in the hard shell
(33) of the grass catcher.
3. Put the plastic straps (35) over
the tubular frame (36).
Fixing the Grass Collection
Box onto the Equipment:
1. Lift the rear impact protection
(7).
2. Hook the grass collection box
(22) into the mounting provided
for this (37) on the rear of the
equipment.
3. Release the impact protection
(7). It holds the grass collection
box in position.
Dismantling the Grass Col-
lection Box:
6. Lift the impact protection (7) and
remove the grass collection box
(22).
