4.8 Capacitance Measurement

 WaRNING: Disconnect the circuit power and discharge all high-voltage capacitors before testing for capacitance.
1. Connect the BLACK test lead to the COM terminal and the RED test lead to the "VΩHz " terminal.
2. Set the rotary switch to "" position.
3. Observe polarity when measuring polarized capacitors.
4. Connect the test leads across the capacitor under measurement.
NoTe: For accurate measurement of low value capacitance, subtract the open lead capacitance from the displayed value.

4.9 frequency Measurement

1. Connect the BLACK test lead to the COM terminal and the RED test lead to the "VΩHz " terminal.
2. Set the rotary switch to "Hz" position.
3. Connect the test leads across the source or load under measurement.
NoTe: The least significant one or two digits of digital display may be unstable at frequencies below 1kHz and above 20 kHz.
