Charging the battery
The product must be dry and in a dry environment when
managing the battery.
J1. Take the battery out of the control box and place it in the C3
charger.
When the battery is located in the charger the green light starts
to flash until it is fully charged, at which time the light remains
constantly green.
Charging the battery
• The battery must be charged fully before the product is used for
the first time.
• When starting to use the product the battery must be charged
once a day or more frequently if necessary.
• When the product is not in use for a prolonged period the bat-
tery must be charged once a month.
• When fitting the battery make sure that the contact surfaces in
the battery and control box are clean and dry. If a beep is heard
the battery is fitted correctly and the chair is ready for use. If
there are two buzzing sounds followed by one beep, the control
box is in calibration mode and calibration must be completed
before further use.
• If the battery is hot after a charge or the chair is overloaded
when in use, the battery's overheating protection may be trig-
gered. Remove the battery and allow it to cool down for about
30 minutes.
• If the battery is taken out of the control box, wait at least one
minute before fitting a new battery.
• It is not permitted to use the chair without a battery in the
control box.
