- Remember that most birds approach the outside perimeter of an
area of crops and use the trees to nest, hide, protect and observe.
Place the speakers slightly within the crop boundary and point them
TOWARDS THE OUTSIDE whenever possible.
- The system must be moved regularly, avoid leaving it in the same
place for too long.
Every living creature will do anything to get food. At the end of the
summer, many young birds born during this season are already able
to look for food on their own. Most of them will starve during the
winter. In some cases, the crops are a great opportunity for "easy"
food. This is the crucial time to protect the crop. In this situation,
it may be useful to intensify the BS-15 system by using it more,
regularly changing the sounds or by moving a mobile unit (if available)
to new positions. Remember that the BS-15 repeller is a device that
requires commitment to get the best result.
Normally it is not enough just to install it at the beginning of the
season.
- Never let the batter go flat! Once the birds arrive at the crops and
have a good feed, it is a tough battle to get rid of them. Knowing that
there is food means they will not go away easily.
