Control elements
The following control elements are located at the front of the monitor:

STANDBY
Switches the power supply on/off (standby)
UP
This button has three functions:
normal mode: increase volume
after calling up the menu: change a setting within a
function (e. g. contrast)
when in reverse gear: move the distance markers
upwards
DOWN
This button has three functions:
normal mode: decrease volume
after calling up the menu: change a setting within a
function (e. g. contrast)
when in reverse gear: move the distance markers
downwards
SELECT
This button has three functions:
press briefly: select video source (CA1
→
AV
after calling up the menu: select functions (e. g. pic-
ture setting)
press for longer: switches the camera number dis-
play ("CAM1" or "CAM2") and the time display (nor-
mal mode) on or off
MENU
This button has two functions:
press briefly (in normal mode): activate dimmer
function
press for longer: call up menu
You can call up four menus. Press the button
again to call up the individual menus.
– PICTURE/BILD: picture setting (e. g. brightness)
– USER/NUTZER: select system function (e. g.
language)
– TIME/UHRZEIT: set date and time
– INSTALL/AUSWAHL: select application (e. g.
mirror function)
