In Expert mode, the flight control system (auto-leveling) of the Alias is disabled, allowing the pilot to have full control of all aspects of flight. To take full
advantage of the capability of the Alias and perform exciting, advanced aerobatics, the transmitter can be set to Expert mode and the elevator and aileron
rates adjusted to 100%.
WARNING: This mode is intended for expert level pilots only!
To perform advanced aerobatics in Expert mode:
1. Turn the transmitter on.
2. Enter the transmitter setting menu by pressing and holding the throttle stick for 2 seconds until "MENU"
appears in the upper left corner of the LCD screen. "ELEVATOR" and "AILERON" will also appear on the
LCD screen (A) indicating that the elevator and aileron rates can now be adjusted.
3. From Easy mode, click the flight stick twice. The transmitter will beep 3 times, the green LED
will begin double flashing, and the LCD will display EXP2 (B).
4. Using the elevator upper trim button, increase the rate percent to 100% (C).
5. Press and hold the throttle stick for 2 seconds to exit the setting menu.
6. Arm the helicopter to resume flight.
NOTE: If at any time you lose control of the helicopter, press and hold the AUX1 button to immediately return
the helicopter to Fast mode and reactivate the flight control system (auto-leveling). Release the AUX1 button
when you are ready to turn auto-leveling off and return to Expert mode.
