ASSEMBLY AND CALIBRATING INSTRUCTIONS
1° - Fix the Aluminum profile.
2° - Insert the rubber profile onto the Aluminum profile using liquid soap or talcum powder to
make it easier for the rubber to slide.
3° - Insert the 6 m long cable into the rubber hole as in the scheme (from the opposite side
respect the point you will connect the circuit). Pass the cables through the hole present in
the cap with 1 m long cable. Insert the two caps into the rubber profile.
4° - Connect cables to the FOTOCOSTA card and turn on the power.
5° - Adjust the intervention sensibility using the TRIMMER in the electronic circuit.
Rotating TRIMMER in a clockwise direction (+) FOTOCOSTA has less contact sensibility
and it is necessary to deform the rubber profile more in order to command the relay
intervention.
Rotating TRIMMER in an anti-clockwise direction (-), FOTOCOSTA has more contact
sensibility.
N.B. THE RED LED MUST STAY LIT WHEN THE RUBBER PROFILE IS NOT
DEFORMED.
6° - Remove the jumper J1 if you want a single impulse (1 second) when the rubber is distorted
(ideal selection for RIB control boards). Insert the jumper J1 if you want a permanent
impulse (for all the time that the rubber is distorted).
N.B.: SEAL THE CAPS WITH ADHESIVE TO PREVENT HUMIDITY FROM SEEPING IN.

* To be connected to terminal B or PHOT or EDGE of the control panel in order to obtain
reverse running during closing phase (J1 disconnected)
* To be connected to terminal E or EDGE to obtain reverse running during opening phase (J1
disconnected),
* To be connected to terminal 2 to obtain permanent blocking of the automatism (J1
disconnected).

ANWEISUNGEN ZUR MONTAGE UND EINSTELLUNG
1° - Befestigen Sie das Aluminiumprofil.
2° - Führen Sie das Gummiprofil in das Aluminiumprofil ein; verwenden Sie dabei flüssige Seife
oder Puder, um die Gleitfähigkeit des Gummis auf dem Aluminium zu erhöhen.
3° - Führen Sie nun das 6 m lange entstörte Kabel in die zweite Kammer ein und führen es
durch die Kappe mit dem 1 m langen Kabel. Danach drüchen Sie beide Kappen in das
Gummiprofil.
4° - Nachdem Sie die beiden entstörten Kabel an den elektronischen Kreislauf der
FOTOCOSTA angeschlossen haben, geben Sie Spannung.
5° - Stellen Sie die Empfindlichkeit mit Hilfe des in dem elektronischen KreisIauf befindlichen
Trimmers ein. Durch Drehen des Trimmers im Uhrzeigersinn (+) muß eine größere
Deformation der Kammer erzielt werden, damit das Relais eingreift. Durch Drehen des
Trimmers gegen den Uhrzeigersinn (-) wird die Empfindlichkeit erhöht.
BITTE BEACHTEN SIE DIE ROTE LED-ANZEIGE MUß IMMER EINGESCHALTET
BIEIBEN.
6° - Wählen Sie mit dem Klemmleiste J1 (J1 eingeschaltet), ob Sie ein dauernden Kontakt - dh
für die ganze Zeit, in der die Sicherheitsleiste gedrückt wird - oder ein nur 1 Sekunden lang
Kontakt (J1 ausgeschaltet) wollen.
BITTE BEACHTEN SIE: VERSIEGELN SIE DIE BEIDEN KAPPEN MIT EINEM KLEBER, UM
DAS EINDRINGEN VON FEUCHTIGKEIT ZU VERHINDERN.
