RECOMMENDATIONS
Weigh yourself on a stable horizontal surface. Use a hard surface, not a carpet.
Weigh yourself on the same spot. An uneven surface may affect the results.
Weigh yourself without clothes, before a meal, approximately at the same time of day; ideally, in the morning.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

INSERTING THE BATTERIES

1. Open the battery compartment cover located underneath the unit.
2. Insert one battery type CR2032 (button cell) in the battery compartment, and replace the cover carefully.
WEIGHING
1. Select the measuring unit using the switch (kilogram, pound).
2. Put the unit on a stable, horizontal surface.
3. Put one foot in the centre of the weighing surface to switch the unit on.
4. Wait until the value of 0.0 is displayed.
5. Step onto the weighing surface carefully. Make sure not to slide, or turn the unit over. The result will appear on the
display.
6. Step off the weighing surface.
7. The unit will switch off automatically after a couple of seconds.
OTHER INFORMATION ON THE DISPLAY
In case Lo message is displayed after switching on (Fig 1.), or there is nothing displayed, the battery is flat and has to
be replaced.
In case Err message is displayed (Fig. 2), there's been an error during the measuring process, or the unit has been
overloaded and can be damaged.
