NOTE
1. Fill the kettle only with cold water.
2. The water level must be between the MAX. and MIN. marks!
When fi lling the kettle water could splash out.
3. Turn off the kettle before removing it from the base.
4. Always ensure that the lid is closed properly.
5. The base and the outside of the kettle must not be wet.
6. Only use the kettle with the supplied base.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Before using for the fi rst time you should "pre-boil" twice using clean water.
1. Fill the kettle with water. Do not over fi ll it, watch the water level indicator.
2. Place the kettle on the base.
3. After connecting the appliance to the power socket switch the kettle on to position "1".
The control light on the water level indicator shows the water heating.
4. After the water fi nishes boiling the kettle will turn off automatically.
5. Disconnect the power plug from the power socket.
6. When pouring out water, do not open the lid.
