STEAM SELECTION
1 The CVG has two steam positions (medium and maximum). By default, the medium
steam setting will be selected when the iron is switched on.
2 Press the maximum steam button (9) once if you want more steam. You will hear a
beep and the selected steam level icon will light up red.
Do not hold the CVG handle while pressing a steam pushbutton. If you do so, the
pushbutton's pilot light will flash twice and switch off without responding to the
instruction.
When you grasp the handle again the steam will start coming out.
The steam will only come out when the CVG reaches a high enough temperature to
produce steam. This prevents water from dripping.
The steam flow setting selected using buttons (8) and (9) is independent of the ironing
temperature selected using the selector (7).
Ultra eco-intelligent: The CVG has a presence detection system that cuts off the
flow of steam the moment the user lets go of the CVG.
This system saves energy because the water in the tank lasts longer (lower water
consumption)
The steam flow resumes as soon as the CVG detects the user's grip again.
3 To cut off the flow of steam, push the steam function button again (in red), and you will
hear a beep. The red light will go out and the steam will automatically stop.
TURNING OFF THE IRON
To turn off the iron:
1 Turn the temperature selector (7) to the 0 position. You will hear a beep and it will turn
off.
AUTOMATIC POWER OFF: STAND-BY
The CVG has an automatic power off system.
Approximately 3 minutes after it was used for the last time, it switches off automatically. This
means that once this mechanism is triggered, the iron stops heating up and starts cooling
down.
When this happens you will hear a beep and the SUPERSTEAM and stand-by
light will flash (10) indicating that the iron is switched off.
To switch it on again, just move it slightly. You will hear a beep and the CVG will
return to the temperature and steam setting you were using before it switched
off.
Remember that the longer the iron is switched off, the longer it will take to return
to the previously selected temperature.

IRONING RECOMMENDATIONS

STEAM IRONING

This model allows you to steam iron at a minimum temperature (ECO •). It has two steam
settings: medium 20g/m and maximum 40 g/m.
Because this iron operates similarly to a professional ironing centre and its maximum
steam setting is 40 g/min, we recommend you iron with medium steam in the ECO•
and •• temperature settings and with maximum steam for the ••• and MAX
temperature settings.
For professional steam-ironing results, we recommend you first iron garments with the
steam setting suitable for them and then dry iron the garments to remove the moisture
from them.
