4. Operation
4.7. Calibration of pH electrode
With the calibration the instrument adapts to the electrode and it's variations suffered over time.It is
recommended to calibrate periodically.
The process is carried out in three steps:
1. Selection of buffers temperature.
2. Calibration with buffer 7.
3. Calibration with a second buffer, pH 4 or 9.2.
If during calibration process an anomaly is detected
an error message will appear (see page 24).
Enter code 100
Enter buffers temperature with
The display shifts automatically when the reading is stable.
The second buffer used can be pH 4 or pH 9.2.
Theoretical value of the buffer at the calibration temperature.
Notes: During CALIBRATION instrument is in hold state:
• Contact relays are opened.
• Current output is frozen at 21 mA.
To quit the hold state it is necessary to return to MEASURE.
Press ESC to quit the calibration, from any screen, without
storing data.
For practical reasons, it is recommeded to select temperature
manually during CALIBRATION, even if you have an ATC
probe connected (Pt 1000).
