7.3 Assembly
For re-assembly, follow the disassembly procedures in the reverse order. Change the gaskets and any
damaged or worn parts.

Pump does not start
Pump does not deliver
Insufficient delivery
Pump stops after a short

The pump vibrates and

PROBABLE CAUSE
No power supply
Automatic switch tripped or blown
fuses
Overload protection
Impeller jammed
There is air in the system and in the
pump body
Incorrect direction of rotation
Pump or pipes obstructed
Pump runs beyond rated capacity
Overload protection trips
The pump does not rotate freely
Liquid is too viscous
Worn ball bearings
The pump is cavitating
Foreign matter inside the pump
POSSIBLE REMEDIES
Supply electrical power
Re-set the switch and replace the
fuse
Re-set the protection

Bleed the system and prime the
pump (see point 6.2)

Disassemble and/or clean
Partially close the delivery gate valve
Replace bearings
