DISPLAY ERROR MESSAGES
'HI'
The measured temperature is higher than 42,9 °C.
'LO'
The measured temperature lower than 32 °C
'ErrE'
The ambient temperature is not within the operation specifications.
'ErrU'
Does not measure after pressing 'Measure'. Follow the steps mentioned in the
user guide.
'ErrH'
An error is detected during self-check. Remove the batteries for 10 seconds
and try again.
'ErrS'
Sensor error. Do not use the thermometer under extreme environment.
'ErrR'
Hardware problem. Return the unit to the service center.
'ErrL'
Battery low. Replace the battery.
'ErrP'
Hardware problem. Return the unit to the service center.

ADVANCED MODE
8.1
TIME SETTINGS
• Turn the unit with the probe facing down.
• Power on the unit by pressing the START - button (10) once. You will hear a short
beep. Time mode is displayed.
• Press and hold the SET - button (6). The 24hr/12hr system is blinking.
• Press the SET - button (6) to switch between 24hr and 12hr system.
• Press the OK - button (5) to confirm. The hour digits are blinking.
• Press the SET - button (6) repeatedly to increase the digit.
• Press the OK - button (5) to confirm. The minutes digits are blinking.
• Repeat previous steps for setting the minutes, year, month and day.
• After setting the day, the unit will enter sleep mode setting.

SLEEP MODE - ROOM TEMPERATURE
When sleep mode is not activated, the display is continously ON.
The display will toggle between time and room temperature.
After setting the hour, sleep mode setting is displayed:
• Press the SET - button (6) to switch between ON or OFF.
• Press the OK - button (5) to confirm.

BACKLIGHT AND FLASHLIGHT
• Press the LIGHT - button (8) to turn the display backlight on. The backlight will
automatically turn off after 8 seconds.
• Press and hold the LIGHT - button (8) to activate the flashlight. The flashlight will
automatically turn off after 5 seconds.
