Installing the Avaya Secure Router 4134 chassis and hardware components
Procedure steps
1. Select one of the six possible rack-mounting positions on the sides of the Secure

Installing the chassis

Install the Secure Router 4134 in a standard equipment rack (19 in; 48.26cm).
Average time to install the Secure Router 4134 chassis in an equipment rack: 2 minutes.
Important:
You must install the Secure Router 4134 in a restricted-access location. You must limit
access to the Secure Router 4134 to authorized service personnel only.
Important:
Avaya recommends that you install the chassis (including the power supplies and fan tray)
in the equipment rack before you install the ground lug and the optional external interface
modules.

Do not install the Secure Router 4134 near a standing or running water source or in a high-
humidity environment.
