Option
Description
Full
Test the output by sending the maximum current of 20mA.
Zero
Test the output by sending the minimum current of 0 or 4mA depending on the analyzer setup.
Note: You can only exit this menu when the option Conc is displayed.
Set the alarms and thresholds (ALARM option)
The analyzer has three alarms which are allocated according to the definition of WARNING/R1:
System alarm

1. Select ALARM with the scrolling keys and press Enter.
Option
SYS.ALARM ON/OFF
WARNING/R1 YES/NO Define the alarm allocation (see table above).
ALARM 1/2 ON/OFF
ALARM 1/2 XXX/XXX
ALARM 1/2 HIGH/LOW If activated, define if the trigger is a high or low measurement value.
ALARM 1/2 XXX
Measurement mode (SEQUENCE option)
Define the measurement mode.
1. Select SEQUENCE with the scrolling keys and press Enter. Use the scrolling keys to select the
required mode.
Option
Description
FIX TIME A fixed interval between measurements. The interval is defined in
(TIMING option)
LOOP
Continuous measurement. No further input is required.
PLOT pH Select this if a titration curve needs to be plotted. Enter the START pH and END pH values
(between 0 and 14) that define the 0/4mA and 20mA outputs. If the TWO REAGENTS option has
been chosen, define which reagent will be used to define the slope.
Test analyzer and accessories (SERVICE option)
Check various physical options (e.g. pumps) are working correctly. The option to view the version
number of the latest installed software is also available from the list.
1. Select SERVICE with the scrolling keys and press Enter.
2. Select the option to test from the list available and set to ON to start it, check it functions
correctly, and then set back to OFF to stop it.

Alarm 2
Description
Activate or deactivate the system alarm.
Activate or deactivate alarms 1 and 2.
If activated, define what measurement triggers the alarm (application specific).
Enter the threshold value. If the alarm is set to HIGH any measured value above
this threshold will trigger the alarm, or if the alarm is set to LOW any measured
value below this threshold will trigger the alarm.
