8.1 Safety instructions

DANGER!
Risk of injury from high pressure in the equipment!
• Before loosening pneumatic lines and valves, turn off the pressure and vent the lines.
WARNING!
Risk of injury from improper assembly!
•
Installation may be carried out by authorized technicians only and with the
appropriate tools.
Risk of injury from unintentional activation of the system and an uncontrolled
restart!
•
Secure system from unintentional activation.
•
Following assembly, ensure a controlled restart.
DANGER!
Risk of crushing from moving pneumatic connection!
• When opening and closing the device, do not touch the moving pneumatic
connection.
• Do not reach into the area immediately above and below the control air connection.

8.2 Before Installation

•
The angle seat valve can be installed in any position, preferably with the actuator face up.
•
Before connecting the valve, ensure the pipelines are flush.
•
Observe flow direction.

Preparatory tasks

Clean pipelines (sealing material, swarf, etc.).
Welded housing
Remove actuator before welding in the valve housing
