5 Mounting
The camera can be mounted with a camera mount-
ing bracket (e. g. MONACOR TVH series) at a wall or
ceiling. For this a
top and bottom side. For outside mounting the
camera must be placed into a weatherproof housing,
e. g. MONACOR TVG-300.
6 Connection of the camera
6.1 Camera output
Connect the camera output jack VIDEO OUT (3) via a
75 Ω RF cable (e. g. MONACOR VEC-62/10) with one
or several monitors. Watch the correct 75 Ω termina-
tion at the monitor resp. with series connection at the
last monitor. With a cable length of more than 100 m a
video amplifier should be switched between camera
and long cable to compensate for cable losses.
When using several cameras, insert a camera
video switch or video splitter between the cameras
and the monitor (e. g. monitor TVSP-410).
6.2 External synchronization
For large monitoring systems it is recommended to
synchronize all cameras with each other. By this a
stable picture is obtained while switching over from
one camera to another so that the picture does not
roll up the screen. For this feed the synchronisation
signal (0.5 Vss) into the jack EXT. SYNC. (2).
For smaller units the jack EXT. SYNC. (2) is not
connected. In this case the camera is supplied by the
integrated sync oscillator.
