Notes / Tips on Operation:
• The Waxprofi can also be used for
modelling wax or light wax.
• Refill the pot regularly. Renfert rec-
ommends GEO pink modelling wax,
No. 647-0000.
• Close the lid to reduce the heating
time.
• Do not overheat the wax in the
Waxprofi.
• Use the inner rim of the pot to strip
off excess wax.
• When working with wax in a viscous
or spreadable consistency, do not
close the lid during short work inter-
ruptions, otherwise the trapped heat
will completely liquefy the wax.
• When working with the Waxlectric,
good results can be obtained with tip
numbers 2155-0104, -0105, -0106,
-0110, and -0111 at a temperature of
130 - 150 °C (266 - 302 °F).
• Some waxes may form a surface skin
with reduced temperatures. The skin
can be easily dissolved by means of
stirring.
• To obtain a viscous or spreadable
consistency, heat the wax until a ma-
jority has been liquefied (approx. ¾
of the pot content), then turn down
the Waxprofi's temperature until the
desired consistency is achieved.
• A uniform consistency can be ob-
tained more quickly by stirring the pot
contents.
• Some waxes may separate, that is,
individual colour pigments separate
out of the base material. Simply stir
the wax to return it to its original,
homogenous state.
Exceptions to this are when the Wax-
profi is used in conjunction with:
- Solidus 84 (Yeti);
- "Hardy" modelling wax (Gebdi).

6. Cleaning and Maintenance
The Waxprofi is maintenance free.
From time-to-time, you should wipe your unit
down with a damp cloth.
Do not use solvents or cleansers.
Never rinse or spray your Waxprofi
directly with water!
If the unit switched off, you can remove hard-
ened wax residue by carefully scraping it.
Warming the unit's surfaces with a hair drier will
make it easier to remove wax residue.
The Waxprofi lid can be removed, allowing dirt
and other contaminants to be easily cleaned
under a steam jet.
7. Spare Parts
You can find components subject to wear and
the spare parts on the spare part list in the
internet at www.renfert.com/p918.
The components excluded from the warranty
(such as consumables or parts subject to wear
and tear) are marked on the spare part list.
Serial number and date of manufacturing are
shown on the type plate of the unit.
8. Warranty
Provided the unit is properly used, Renfert
warrants the Waxprofi for a period of 3 years.
The original sales receipt from the dealer must
be provided when making warranty claims.
Parts which are subject to natural wear and tear
(wear parts) and consumables are excluded
from the guarantee. These parts are marked in
the spare part list.
The warranty is voided in case of improper use;
failure to observe the operating, cleaning, main-
tenance, and connection instructions; in case of
independent repairs or repairs by unauthorized
personnel; if spare parts from other manufac-
turers are employed, or; in case of unusual
influences or influences not in compliance with
the utilization instructions. Warranty service
shall not extend the original warranty.
