6. Installation chime (Reciever)
Open the battery compartment (7), while pulling the lower part of the front of the
cabinet downwards. Now you can use three Mignon batteries according to the polarity
information in the battery compartment. We recommend to use high-quality and long-
lived Alkaline batteries.
Now the sliding switch (1) (1to 4) for the coding is visible. This switch must be in
the same position on transmitter and on receiver side. If the receiver gives a signal,
without operation of the transmitter, this switch must be changed to another position,
but also for transmitter and receiver to the same position.
The switch (6) on the right hand side is for the vibration alarm which alerts you also in
loud surroundings if you carry the receiver near to your body. Please turn on the vibra-
tion alarm only if you really need him, because otherwise, the battery becomes empty
needlessly. Now you can close the battery compartment again.
After turning on the function switch (4) »LAUT- AUS- LEISE« the green control LED
flashes (5) during approx. 5 seconds -per second two times. Then the device is
functional-ready and the green control LED blinks all three seconds shortly.
If now the transmitter is activated, a signal sounds on receiver side and, according to
the switch position »A B C« of the transmitter, one of three control LEDs (2) »A B C« on
receiver side are blinking for 15 seconds. During this time the green control LED (5)
remains dark.
Only after the red LED does not flash any more, the greencontrol LED has the normal
function again. If several trans-mitters with different switch positions are used, an
allocationto the corresponding transmitter is possible with the control LEDs (2) for
»A B C«. Another signal sound is assigned to everycontrol LED or switch position
»A B C«.
7. Function - RESET
On the top side, there is a button which can finish the alarmat any time.
8. Battery control
If the control light is blinking red instead of green the capacity of the battery is unsuffi-
cient and the batteries are to renewed.
