3. General safety instructions

The compressor is designed to produce
compressed air for pneumatic tools.
The machine must be used only as intended. Any
other use beyond this is not in compliance with
the intended use.
The user/operator and not the manufacturer is
liable for any resulting damage or injuries of any
type.
Caution! When using this compressor, the
following general safety measures must be taken
to provide protection against electric shock, risk
of injury and fire hazard.
Read and follow these instruction before you use
the device.
1. Keep your work area tidy and in order.
Disorder in the working area can cause accidents.
2. Consider ambient influences.
Do not expose the compressor to rain; Do not use
the compressor in a damp or wet environment;
Ensure good lighting in the work area; Do not use
the compressor where there is a risk of fire or an
explosion hazard.
3. Protect yourself against electric shock.
Avoid physical contact with grounded parts (e.g.
pipes, radiators, electric cookers, refrigerators)
4. Keep all other persons away. Do not let
other persons, particularly children, to touch the
compressor or the cable. Keep them away from
your work area.
5. When your compressor is not in use, keep it
in a safe place.
When not in use, the compressor should be kept
in a dry, elevated, or locked place, out of the
reach of children.
6. Do not overload your compressor.
You will be able to work better and more safely in
the specified performance range.
7. Use the right compressor.
Do not use low-power machines for heavy work.
Do not use the power tools for purposes other
than for which they were intended.
8. Wear appropriate clothing - Do not wear
loose clothing or jewellery, they could be
caught by or in moving parts.
When working outdoors, non-slip footwear is
recommended. Wear a hair net if you have long
hair.
9. Use personal protective equipment.
Wear safety glasses; if your work creates dust,
wear a breathing mask.
10. Do not use the cable for purposes other
than for which it was intended.
Do not pull the cable to remove the plug from
the power outlet.
11. Avoid an abnormal body posture.
Ensure that you are in a safe stance position, and
keep your balance at all times.
12. Maintain your compressor carefully.
Follow the instructions for lubrication. Regularly
inspect the connection cable to the compressor,
and in the event of damage have it replaced by
a recognized professional. Inspect the extension
cables regularly, and replace them if they are
damaged.
13. Remove the plug from the power outlet.
When not using the compressor, before starting
maintenance work, e.g. when cleaning the
suction filter.
14. Avoid unintentional starting.
Before connecting the plug to the power outlet,
make sure that the switch is switched off.
15. The compressor has been designed for use
in dry rooms only.
It must not be used outdoors.
