WARNING

To avoid any injury or damage the toaster must only be

serviced by qualified personnel.

SYMPTOM

Toast too light.

Toast too dark.

Unit takes too long to toast.

Unit toasts only on one side.

Toaster does not automatically pop-

up.

Heating Element does not come on

at all when handle is pushed down.

The handle does not latch.

Toaster trips the circuit breaker or

GFCI.

To avoid any injury, unplug the toaster from the power

source and allow to cool completely before performing

any maintenance, cleaning, or attempting to clear a jam.

PROBABLE CAUSE

Color Selection Control set on a light

setting.

Supply voltage to unit is low.

Color Selection Control set on a dark

setting.

Supply voltage to unit is high.

The first few batches can take longer

because the toaster needs time to

heat up when initially turned on.

Heating element defective.

Spring is broken.

Unlatching solenoid is no longer

working.

Control board has stopped working.

The switch may be broken.

Latch mechanism is broken.

Circuit breaker is not properly sized

for the toaster.

Wiring fault inside toaster.

CORRECTIVE ACTION

Adjust color control to a darker setting.

Verify the supply voltage to the toaster matches

the unit specifications.

Adjust color control to a lighter setting.

Verify the supply voltage to the toaster matches

the unit specifications.

Allow toaster to heat up before inserting bread

product.

Visually check heating elements inside toaster

with the latch engaged. With the handle pushed

down, the heating element should glow red. If

the element does not glow do the following:
