Note: Batteries will charge within the
temperature range of 0 °C to 45 °C for
Li-Ion batteries. If a battery is outside this
temperature range, no charge current will
be supplied to the battery.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
To Install the Vehicle Power Adapter (Refer to
Figure 1.)
Note: The TETRA Handportable should not be
used while the batteries are being
charged.
1. Ensure that the TETRA Handportable is
switched OFF.
2. Attach the Vehicle Power Adapter's
accessory connector to the bottom end of the
handset.
3. Plug the Vehicle Power Adapter into the
vehicle's cigar lighter socket.
4. To remove the Vehicle Power Adapter (Refer
to Figure 1.)
5. Unplug the Vehicle Power Adapter from the
vehicle's cigar lighter socket.
6. Squeeze the top of the Vehicle Power
Adapter's accessory connector and pull away
from the TETRA Handportable.
