Operation
The battery is fully charged upon
delivery, but before it is used for the first
time, it must be activated with a short
charging process. The device is only
ready for operation at this point.
☞ Charge the battery for one second.

In order to establish the connection with
the extractor hood:
y The battery of the remote control
must be charged.
y The extractor hood must be supplied
with power.
 Observe the extractor hood
instructions.
After switching on the mains power
supply the extractor hood needs a few
seconds in order to adapt itself to the
environmental conditions. During this
time, it cannot be operated.
The extractor hood automatically
connects with the remote control.
The teach-in process can take up to
10 minutes with initial connection.
As soon as the remote control has
learned the functions of the extractor
hood, all buttons light for 2 seconds.
In case of extractor hoods without a radio
device (devices older than 07/2017),
the remote control must be switched to
infrared operation.

The remote control has a range of up
to 5 m.
Touching a button executes the
corresponding function. The function is
confirmed:
y The remote control vibrates.
y The LED illuminates for a short time.
y The button lights up.
