9.2 Remote access via a computer
With the program extension "ActiveX", the computer can be
used for remote access to the recorder. The extension is stored
on the recorder; it can be installed on the computer via the
network (local network / Internet).
1) Make sure that the recorder is switched on and connected
to the network.
2) On the computer, open the web browser and enter both
the IP address and the web port of the recorder (see
recorder menu: Parameter Network Network), e. g.:
http://192.186.001.178:00080
When the computer is connected to the network,
"ActiveX" will be automatically downloaded and installed.
Note: If the download of "ActiveX" fails, check whether the security
settings of your browser or firewall are too high.
3) Once "ActiveX" has been installed, it is possible to enter
the IP address of the recorder in the web browser and to
access the recorder. First, a login window will appear:
