ANNUAL CHECK-UP

By carrying out the following checks, you ensure that
the AVABAG system remains largely maintenance free.
. Unfold the AVABAG balloon (N) every new season
and at least once per year (THIS DOES NOT MEAN
ACTIVATION WITH A CARTRIDGE). Check the
balloon for possible damage and fold it back up
(see page / ). Ensure that the entire AVABAG
system (P) is completely dry when installed.
. Carry out a practice activation WITHOUT
CARTRIDGE at least once per year.
After every instance of damage, the functionality
of the AVABAG system must be checked by the
manufacturer.
. Regularly check the condition of the backpack for
possible damage.
. Check the AVABAG system (P) in its inactivated
state: A piercing needle (Q ) can be found inside the
cartridge bushing (Q). This must be easily visible
(see image).
