External Power Source (optional)
The FLP-56 can be powered by an optional an AC power supply. To use AC power, connect the
barrel connector from the power supply to the external power jack (20). Plug the AC cord from the
power supply into an appropriate AC power source.
Attaching the Barn Door (25)
Slide the barn doors over the white ring while twisting them slightly.
Attaching the Studio Stand Adapter (26). Slide the light stand adapter onto the hot show.
Now the FLP-56 can be attached to any (optional) light stand.

Important Notes

• Do not expose the FLP-56 to high temperatures exceeding 40°C. These could cause damages
the unit. Do not leave the light in an automobile during the summer.
• Remove the battery pack and store it separately if you do not intend to use the light for a long
period of time.
• This unit is not water-resistant. Rain and humid weather may cause damages to the light.
• The light is composed of very delicate electronic parts. Be sure to protect it against shock,
impact or other improper handling.
• The light contains a high voltage condenser. Do not try to open the housing or repair the light.
There are no user serviceable parts and improper handling could cause serious injury.
• Do not clean the surface of the light with any strong solvent- they may cause damage to the
light.
