6. Operation

Note
- In the following cases, stop the Lossnay
and manually move the shutter knob to the
rightmost position (the closed position) to
close the shutter.
- If the outside air is cold, winds are strong, snow
or rain is falling heavily, there is heavy fog, or
fine snow is falling. (Water or snow may infiltrate
the Lossnay with the air supply, resulting in
weather damage.)
- During cleaning and inspections
1. Slide the shutter knob to the open
position.
Note
- Make sure that the shutter knob must be
located in the open position, and then
operate the unit.
2. Operation
Press the buttons to operate the product while
checking the operation lamps on the main unit.
Changing the fan speed to
"Low"
Press the "low" button.

"High"
Press the "High" button

Start/Stop
Press the "Start/Stop" button.

Every time the button is pressed, operation
switches between "In operation" → "Stop" → "In
operation."

When starting operating, the main unit emits a short
beep, and when stopping, it emits a short beep.

When first started, the initial setting is for "High" fan
speed.

When operation is stopped, the operation lamp
turns off and operation stops. When operation is
started again, the fan speed will revert to the last
setting before operation was stopped. However,
after the circuit breaker is tripped or the power is
turned off operation begins at "High" fan speed.

Note
- Point the transmitter on the remote
controller towards the receiver on the main
unit to operate.
- Press the center of the buttons gently to
operate them. Pressing the edge of the
buttons, or pressing them with a fingernail
may not operate the buttons in some cases.
Additionally, doing so may result in damage
to the product.
- When there are multiple products installed,
they may operate simultaneously in
response to the remote controller. To
operate them individually, follow the
instructions in "When you cannot use the
remote controller," and operate with the
operating mode selection switch.
- Batteries are consumable items. When
the response is poor, replace the battery
with a new battery (commercially available
CR2025).
- When you cannot operate the remote
controller, check "When you cannot use the
remote controller" below, and operate the
unit, or check "Troubleshooting" on page
12.
When you cannot use the remote
controller
When you cannot use the remote controller for
reasons such as the battery running out, use the
operating mode selection switch on the main unit
to operate the product. The operating mode
switches as shown in the diagram below every
time the operating mode selection switch is
pressed.
