POWER SUPPLY

This unit operates from a main supply of 100-240V ~ 50/60Hz. Connect the AC power
cord to the AC household main outlet. Ensure that the voltage is as indicated on the
rating plate on the rear of the unit.
This unit has two working modes:
STANDBY MODE: The display shows the current time and the speakers and backlight
are off.
PLAYBACK MODE: The blue backlight is on and you can listen to music.
When no sound is produced, the unit will switch to STANDBY MODE automatically af-
ter 15 minutes.
To switch between PLAYBACK MODE and STANDBY MODE, press SOURCE/
STANDBY (4) or press ON/OFF (1) on remote control.
SETTING THE CORRECT TIME
In STANDBY mode:
1. Press and hold STOP (12) (6 on remote). 12/24 digits will flash on the display.
Press SKIP+/- (8/9) (12/13 on remote) repeatedly to set the correct hour. Press
STOP (12) (6 on remote) again to confirm.
2. The hour digits will flash on the display. Press SKIP+/- (8/9) (12/13 on remote) re-
peatedly to set the correct hour. Press STOP (12) (6 on remote) again to confirm.
3. The minute digits will flash on the display. Press SKIP+/- (8/9) (12/13 on remote)
repeatedly to set the correct minute. Press STOP (12) (6 on remote) again to con-
firm.
4. The year digits will flash on the display. Press SKIP+/- (8/9) (12/13 on remote) re-
peatedly to set the correct year. Press STOP (12) (6 on remote) again to confirm.
5. The month digits will flash on the display. Press SKIP+/- (8/9) (12/13 on remote)
repeatedly to set the correct month. Press STOP (12) (6 on remote) again to con-
firm.
6. The day digits will flash on the display. Press SKIP+/- (8/9) (12/13 on remote) re-
peatedly to set the correct day. Press STOP (12) (6 on remote) again to confirm.

SETTING TIMER

In STANDBY mode:
1. Press and hold TIMER (20 on remote). The hour digits will flash on the display.
Press SKIP+/- (8/9) (12/13 on remote) repeatedly to set the correct hour. Press TI-
MER (20 on remote) again to confirm.
2. The minute digits will flash on the display. Press SKIP+/- (8/9) (12/13 on remote)
repeatedly to set the correct minute. Press TIMER (20 on remote) to confirm.
3. Press SKIP+/- (8/9) (12/13 on remote) repeatedly to choose the alarm mode:
DAB/FM/CD/USB. Press TIMER (20 on remote) again to confirm.
4. Press TIMER (20 on remote) to activate the alarm. The alarm icon will appear on
display. Once the alarm hour is reached the unit will start playing in the chosen
mode.
5. Press TIMER (20 on remote) in standby mode to deactivate the alarm. The alarm
icon will disappear from the display.
