is connected to terminal block X4:9-12 on the input
board (AA3) in the control module.

If SMS 40 is to be connected with MODBUS 40,, MOD-
BUS 40 must be the first unit connected to the climate
unit's terminal block.
If SMS 40 is to be connected with RMU 40, SMS 40 must
be the first unit connected to the climate unit's terminal
AA3-X4
block.

Connecting to and disconnecting from SMS 40 occurs
in terminal AA9:X1.
No more than two units can be connected to the cli-
mate unit.
