Set the MODE switch to "ALL METAL","VOLUME" and "SENS"to the mid position.
Press the red TARGET button on the handle,the detector comes into the no-motion
mode. If only the metals approach,the detector will respond.
Let a 25¢ coin approaches the search coil slowly,when it's about 5 inches (13cm) from
the centre of the search coil,the unit will sound a continuous long tone,and the pointer
will swing.
Keep the coin stable. Release the red TARGET button, after one or two seconds, press
the red TARGET button again, the unit's sensitivity reduces along with. Although the
location of the coin isn't changed, the unit won't sound a tone. Let the coin approaches
the centre of the search coil again,the unit will respond with a long tone.
Repeat the above steps,and reduce the height of the coin time after time until it's close
to the centre of the search coil.
