b. Mounting the handset (
1. Remove the handset cover by prising it open with a flat-head screwdriver (fig.4a)
2. Attach it to the wall using the 4 screws, passing the wires through the opening provided (fig. 4b)
3. Connect the wires from the external station observing the wiring diagram (fig. 5)
CAUTION : do not connect the power supply to the mains before step 5
4. Connect the power plug to the handset
5. Clip the cover back onto the handset
6. After being sure the installation is completed, connect the adapter power supply plug to mains outlet.
Note : if the power supply cord is cut, respect polarity

5. WIRING

See the wiring diagram (fig. 5)
a. Connecting the interphone
Use the following wires:
- Connect the wires securely following the wiring diagram below fig.5.
- To connect the outdoor station 2 wires are needed
Caution: under no circumstances should the wires be doubled to make them thicker
•Terminal "3" on the handset to terminal "3" of the outdoor station.
•Terminal "4" on the handset to terminal "4" of the outdoor station
b. Connection of an electric catch, lock and of a gate motor
- An electric lock or strike may be connected to terminals 1 and 2 on the handset.
The strike or lock will be controlled by a short press (1 sec.) on the

marketed by Extel. For the wiring diagram please consult the label on the back of the handset and the back of the

outdoor station.

For controlling an automatic gate opener insert the option WE 8111 BIS SER.R4. Connect it directly to terminals
1 and 2 on the back of the handset (no polarity is to be observed).
