Change the batteries when the image on the screen is unclear or the
letters
on the screen are flashing continuously. If you don't, the
thermometer precision could be affected.
5.2. OPERATION
This spoon is mainly to be used to show the temperature of the baby's
food, whether hot or cold. In this way you can make sure that the food
is at the right temperature, allowing accidental burns to be prevented.
1. Press the "On/Off" button (1) to turn on the thermometer. The

screen (2) will display all its active symbols for 3 seconds
and

then the thermometer will start measuring the temperature.
2. Put the spoon into the food whose temperature you wish to mea-
sure.
In order for the spoon to show the temperature correctly, it must be in
contact with the food for at least one minute.
The thermometer will take periodic temperature measurements every
10 seconds so that the value provided is constantly updated.
If the food temperature attains or exceeds 41˚C, the "H" symbol will
start flashing in the upper right-hand corner of the screen (2) and
simultaneously the thermometer will emit a sound warning.
3. Remember to turn the thermometer off by pressing the on/off button
(1). In this way, you will be able to lengthen the maximum working life
of your device's batteries.
NOTES:
1. To avoid any damage to the sensor, do not bend the tip at an
angle exceeding 45 degrees.
2. This device is not a health product. It should NEVER be used
to measure the body temperature of people or animals.
6. MAINTENANCE
1. Use the appliance carefully. If it is dropped or hit, the screen could
be broken and the appliance will not work properly.
2. This spoon has a flexible tip which is ideal for babies who are lear-
ning to eat. However, to avoid any damage to the sensor, it is vital that
the tip is not bent at an angle exceeding 45 degrees.
3. Replace the battery where necessary to so that the thermometer
precision is not affected by a low battery level.
4. Always clean the thermometer after each use, following the
instructions detailed below in point 6.1. CLEANING.
