6.4 Preset Macros
A Preset Macro is a pre-adjusted channel setting which can be recalled at any time. With the CP-256/32, you
can program up to 16 different Preset Macros which can be assigned to the projector select buttons 1-16.
The buttons 1-8 refer to the settings of the first DMX-channel, the buttons 9-16 to those of DMX-channel 2.
Macros are useful for using one button in order to call up certain functions that are on different DMX-
channels of the projectors. If, for example, the colour green can be found on DMX-value 20 of one projector
and on 40 of another, you can call up the same colour of both projectors via the macro "green".
6.4.1 Programming a Preset Macros
Press the Manual-button and select the desired projector via the respective projector select button.
Press the Macro-button and choose the desired projector select button (e.g. projector select button 1 - macro
green). Adjust the desired colour (e.g. green) via channel fader 1. Press the Enter-button in order to save the
setting. Press the Macro-button in order to leave the Macro-mode.
Select the next projector via the respective projector select button. Press the Macro-button and choose the
same projector select button as for projector 1 (e.g. projector select button 1 - macro green). Adjust the
desired colour (e.g. green) via channel fader 1. Press the Enter-button in order to save the setting. Press the
Macro-button in order to leave the Macro-mode.
6.4.2 Recalling a Preset Macro
Press the Manual-button and select the desired projectors via the respective projector select buttons.
Press the Macro-button and choose the desired projector select button (e.g. projector select button 1 - macro
green). All selected projectors show the chosen colour (e.g. green). Press the Macro-button in order to leave
the Macro-mode.
6.4.3 Editing a Preset Macro
Press the Manual-button and select the desired projector via the respective projector select button.
Press the Macro-button and choose the desired projector select button for editing the macro (e.g. projector
select button 1 - macro green). Adjust the desired colour (e.g. green) via channel fader 1. Press the Enter-
button in order to save the setting. Press the Macro-button in order to leave the Macro-mode.
Select the next projector via the respective projector select button. Press the Macro-button and choose the
same projector select button as for projector 1 (e.g. projector select button 1 - macro green). Adjust the

6.5 Programming
A program is a sequence of different scenes that will be called up one after another. With the CP-256/32, you
can program up to 32 different programs which can be assigned to the projector select buttons 1-32.
6.5.1 Programming a program
Press the Menu-button and select "Menu 2 Make Prog." via the Up/Down-buttons or the Data Entry fader.
Press the Enter-button twice. Select the desired program via the projector select buttons. Adjust the desired
settings via the encoders and the respective channel faders. Select the next projector via the projector select
buttons and adjust the settings. Press the Enter-button in order to save the first step. Program the next steps
until the program is finished or the maximum number of steps - 16 has been reached. Press the Escape-
button and the Enter-button in order to save the program.
6.5.2 Running a program
Press the Program-button and select the desired program via the projector select buttons. Adjust the
program speed via the Speed-control and the repitition rate via the Rate-control.
In order to selecth the programs 17-32 you first have to press the Up-button.
6.5.3 Checking a program
