STARTING INSTRUCTIONS
Mix petrol (gasoline) with oil. Fill petrol tank with petrol/
oil mixture. (See Oil and Petrol Mixing Instructions.)
WARNING: Always detach the vacuum bag
prior to reilling the tank with the fuel mixture
to avoid serious personal injury. The bag may
become highly lammable when saturated with
petrol.
NOTE: Have the shoulder harness on and adjusted
(but not clipped to the support itting) prior to starting
the unit.
NOTE: Throttle lever in right-hand position means high
speed. The throttle lever will remain in its position until
moved.
NOTE: Setting the change-over lever to blower mode
prevents the vacuum bag from illing up while starting
the engine.
• Set the blower/vacuum mode change-over lever to
the up position (Blower Mode). See Operating as
a Blower.
• Put the ignition switch in position 'I' (Fig. 10).

• Allow the engine to warm up for 5 to 10 seconds.
Place the choke lever in position C (Fig. 11).
• Stand in the operating position and clip the shoulder
harness to the support itting that is most comfortable
for you.
NOTE: If the engine loods while trying to start, place
the choke lever in Position C. Move the throttle lever
to the FAST position (Fig. 10). Pull the starter rope
briskly. The engine should start within three (3) to eight
(8) pulls.

engine. Put the throttle lever in the FAST position (Fig.
10) and start unit with the choke lever in Position B
(Fig. 11).
