ASSEMBLY
58
Check the clearance between the cranks and the
chainstays of the frame.
! Minimum crank to chainstay clearance: 3mm!
Check both position and adjustment of the front
derailleur as well as the chain line. Readjust the
front derailleur as required.
NOTE !
It is essential to read and observe the safety and
working instructions given in the manual of the
manufacturer of your front derailleur!
! After approx. 100km all bolts of your Powerarms
SL should be checked for tightness. Pull up all
slackened bolts to the specified torque.
Repeat this inspection every 2.500km!
INFORMATION
Please note that the use of overshoes or an
extremely small distance between bike shoe
and crank will cause the crank surface to wear
- this to a heightened extent when the bike is
frequently used in wet and dirty conditions.
You can counteract this wear by sticking an
appropriate protective sheet (Lizard Skins or
other) on the area liable to wear.
Check this area for wear at regular intervals!
DANGER !
Danger of crash and risk of serious material
damage.
Do not use your Powerarms SL any longer
when the yellow fibre coat (wear indicator)
becomes visible at the outside of the crank!
