Installation procedure:

1. Open cover (5): To do this, open clamping-ring clip (12) and pull up cover (5).
CAUTION:
Do not remove clamping-ring (11) from cover (5).
2. Remove all components from bucket (13).
3. Insert spring (3) into cylinder housing (1) and fi t valve body (4).
4. Locate cylinder housing (1) beneath cover (5) in line with openings and secure with
11 screws (6). Diverter (2) of cylinder housing (1) must be screwed in place facing
down.
5. Re-fi t cover (5) with clamping-ring (11) and close clamping-ring clip (12).
6. Push aluminium end piece (7) into long adapter (8) of suction hose (9).
7. Secure short adapter (10) of suction hose (9) in cover aperture (14) by twisting it a
quarter turn to the right.

Operating information:

The Ash-Pot serves as an interceptor when picking up coarse material, cold ash or swarf.
To avoid blockages, never completely dip suction nozzle into the material being vacuumed
up.
Part of the suction aperture must always be allowed to take in air.
CAUTION:
Do not pick up burning cigarettes, hot ash, lit matches or similar materials.
Do not pick up fl ammable or combustible liquids, such as petrol, solvent or heating oil.
The swirling action caused by suction air may produce explosive mixtures.
